Please allow me to present some fan art I did for the fourth installment of Emily Lockwood's choose your own adventure stories by the wildly talented MarkusJo
I wanted to capture something in the spirit of the beginning of the adventure where Emily is on the precipice of all the excitement (and peril???). So here we join Emily as she puts on the VR headset under the care of her friend Naomi Hawkins, whom she met working in Hart Labs during her previous case. Other wonderful characters appear as the Lockwood universe begins to grow. New dangers unfold as do some old.

If you are a fan of the classic era of Choose Your Own Adventure books, or someone who never got to experience them but are curious to see what the excitement was all about, then I urge you to give the story a shot. It is the reminder that text can often be so much more powerful than visual media. When you are in the adventure, only your imagination poses the limits.
