I'm pleased to announce my latest project. And it signals the return of two of the most imperiled heroines in the industry! After the very generous and positive response I received from their first outing "To Catch a Sleuth" I always kept in the back of my mind the thought about bringing these two ladies back together for another misadventure.
Many of you on DeviantArt have given such a supportive reception to Dawn Meadows as my own original character, and I thank you for that. I too personally, have been so inspired by the immeasurable talents of 's original character, Emily Lockwood. It's no surprise that I would find inspiration would strike once again.
So I hope that some of you can be excited to learn that their latest adventure will begin next week. I have been hard at work on it for quite some time, and am now eager to share the work with the community. Stay tuned!
Supporting a Friend, and the CYOA Genre!
I want to take a moment to spotlight a new initiative by a friend and a creator MarkusJo (https://www.deviantart.com/markusjo) whom inspires me a great deal.
The Choose Your Own Adventure genre of books is quite possibly the most important foundation of where all my interest in peril stems from. And while those books are long relics of the 1980's, there is still someone out there putting in the work to create new content in this genre. It's a lot of work, and likely why more people don't tackle it, and as more often is the case, complete the job.
This is the type of creative content that I want to support, and I hope that some of you will consider doing the same. In addition t
a new dawn
Five years ago, Torqual3D (https://www.deviantart.com/torqual3d) taught me how to use a DAZ Studio 3.1.2 and gave me the training to realize my own original character, Dawn Meadows, who up until that point had only existed in the form of commissioned illustrations for the better part of 10 years. And while I adored (and continue to adore) the magnificent collection of commissioned art, and the variety of iterations of Dawn Meadows that inspired, there was something special and exciting about being able to create my own vision. And for five years, I practiced with the software, created renders, learned how to post work an image, and many of you provided tireless, kind, and encoura
Spotlight: Hannah Hoxley
Happy New Year everyone. I hope things are going well. I thought I would take a moment to give the spotlight to another character in the Dawn Meadows universe. And this time around, it would be Hannah Hoxley. I know she has appeared previously in my work here, and for any of you who have followed my writings from YEARS ago, you are no doubt already familiar with her. But I figured for the sake of world building, she deserved her moment here in the studio. Miss Hoxley was a childhood friend of Dawn from their days at the Ivy Ridge Academy for Girls. Well, friend might not be the correct word. They might be something more of rivals, or "frenemi
Winter Cabin - Part II
Last winter, I tackled my first serious project in DAZ Studio, and many of you inquired what might happen next in the story. I have appreciated all the kindness and support the community has shown me as I found my way through the art of creation. I will be the first to admit that I honestly never know when inspiration is going to strike, and even more uncertain, is what form it will take. But as the snow drifts down around, and the cold makes the outside world feel forsaken, I found myself pondering... It's time to check in on a certain peril prone reporter, in a sequel that nobody was waiting for :P

This is awesome. I do like the concept of seeing these two getting into sleuth related shenanigans again. The more sleuths the better I say. I enjoyed your last series with them. Nice accompanying pic of them too, they look very glamorous
